Research of Clinical Correlation between Serum Adiponection and Coronary Artery Stenosis

Objective To investigate the correlation between the serum levels of adiponectin(APN) and the severity of coronary artery disease.Methods The serum levels of adiponectin were measured in the sera from 86 patients whom had all received coronary angioplasty.The severity of coronary artery lesion was evaluated by Genisine score.The patients were grouped by the Genisine score,degree of stenosis of single coronary artery and number of vessels with coronary stenosis.Results ①The serum concentration of adiponectin in Genisine 19 group,10-19 group and10 group were significantly lower than those in Genisine 0 group(P0.01).The serum concentration of adiponectin in 19 group were lower than those in 10-19 group(P0.01) and the serum concentration of adiponectin in 19 and 10-19 group were lower than those in 10 group(P0.05-0.01).②Serum levels of APN were lower in90% group,71%-90% group and 71% than those in the control group(P0.01) and serum levels of APN were lower in90% group,71%-90% group than those in the 71% group(P0.01).③The serum concentration of adiponectin in multi-vessel disease group,double-vessel disease group and single-vessel disease group were lower than those in the control group(P0.01).The levels of APN in multi-vessel disease group were lower than those in double-vessel disease group(P0.05).The levels of APN in multi-vessel disease group and double-vessel disease group were lower than that in the single-vessel disease group(P0.01).Conclusion The serum levels of adiponectin may reflect the severity of coronary artery disease.
