Discussion on the Contradiction Between "Presumption of Innocence" and "True Answer" On the Angle of Human Right

The Chinese criminal procedure law absorbed the sense of presumption of innocence, which reflects the scientific nature and democracy of criminal procedure system. But this law also sets the duty of true answer. This article wants to explain that there is a contradiction between presumption of innocence and true answer, We should establish the system of presumption of innocence, abolish the duty of true answer, so that the human rights could be well protected and the criminal procedure law could fit the demands of the time.
