Abstract

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of oral Chinese medicine,retention enema,acupoint application of three kinds of combination therapy in the treatment of ulcerative colitis(UC). Methods: 160 patients with UC were randomly divided into treatment group of 80 cases and control group of 80 cases. The treatment group was treated with oral Chinese medicine,retention enema,acupoint application,and the control group was treated with Sulfasalazine Enteric-coated Tablets,daily 4 g,oral,4 times. 2 groups were treated for 4 weeks. Results:Comparison between the treatment group and the control group,the main symptoms of abdominal pain,diarrhea and bloody purulent stool disappear time differences were significant(P 0. 01). The treatment after the review colonoscopy,the control group was 72. 50%,treatment group 97. 50%(P 0. 01). Tthe total effective rate of the treatment group and the control group were 97. 50% and 75. 00%. The treatment group was significantly better than the control group(P 0. 01). Conclusion: The clinical effect of oral Chinese medicine,retention enema,acupoint application of three kinds of combination therapy in the treatment of ulcerative colitis is positive.
