Abstract
Objective To explore the diagnostic value of the combined detection of hepatic fibrosis and liver function indices for hepatic diseases. Methods A total of 310 hepatitis B patients were divided into acute hepatitis group, chronic hepatitis group, severe hepatitis group, cirrhosis group according to diagnosis.Hyaluronic acid(HA),Ⅳ collagen(Ⅳ-C),alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST)were measured.Sixty healthy subjects were chosen as control group. Results The levels of ALT and AST significantly increased in patients with hepatitis B compared with that of healthy controls(P0.05).The levels of ALT and AST in acute hepatitis patients were significantly higher than that in the other hepatitis patients(P0.01),but there was no significant difference between patients with chronic hepatitis, severe hepatitis and cirrhosis(P0.05).The levels of HA and Ⅳ-C were significantly higher in hepatitis B patients than that of controls(P0.01).The levels of HA and Ⅳ-C in patients with severe hepatitis, hepatitis cirrhosis were higher than that of acute hepatitis(P0.01).The levels of HA and Ⅳ-C showed no correlation with the levels of ALT and AST(P0.05).Conclusion Liver function indices are abnormal in hepatitis B patients. The combined detection of hepatic fibrosis and liver function indices can improve the reliability for the clinical diagnosis of hepatic fibrosis. It is helpful for monitoring and treating hepatitis B.
