Study on Characteristics of Coal Mine Intrinsic Safety and Strategies of Management

The domestic study status and problems of intrinsic safety in coal mine is analyzed; the connotation of intrinsic safety is further discussed. According to the cause analysis of coal mine accidents in China in recent years, personnel's behavior safety is pointed out to be the main characteristic of intrinsic safety in coal mine. Then, by studying the control management of coal mine accident in China, accident rate is chosen as the reference standard to judge the level of intrinsic safety in coal mine. After the production situation analysis of coal mine in China, idea to judge the intrinsic safety in coal mine according to classification is raised. Finally, management strategies to accomplish intrinsic safety in coal mine are presented as follows: further studying the theories of coal mine safety management; strengthening law-making of safety management in coal mine; establishing the coal mine safety management standard and efficient organization mechanism, etc.
