Abstract
A new sodium complex,[Na( H2O)( μ2-Ans)( Phen) ]2,was synthesized by reflux reaction of5-aminonaphthol sulfonic acid( HAns),1,10- phenanthroline( phen) and NaOH in ethanol / water solution and structurally characterized by elemental analysis,IR,TG and single crystal X-ray diffraction.The title complex crystallized in orthorhombic with space group P21/ n,a = 0. 70346( 13) nm,b = 1.0959( 2) nm,c = 2. 5854( 5) nm,β = 94. 934( 4) °,V = 1. 9858( 6) nm3,R = 0. 0493,ωR = 0.1755. The structure analysis shows that the complex exhibits a discrete cyclic dinuclear structure formed due to the μ2-bridge mode of sulfo-group. The 3D supramolecular network is constructed via π-πinteractions and hydrogen bonds. In addition,the fluorescence property of title complex has been investigated.
