Abstract

Objective:Discuss the clinical value of thinprep cytological test in diagnosis of early cervical disease.Methods:2 000 patients with thinprep cytology were slectted in our hospital from October 2008 to June 2010,in accordance with the Bethesda System(TBS) for cytology classification,76 of them with routine colposcopic biopsy on histological diagnosis were compared.Results:2 000 cases were thinprep cytology in cervical smear examination in 96.95%(1939/2000) satis faction rate,102 cases of abnormal smears,76 cases were carried out abnormal vaginal biopsy,TCT and colposcopy the biopsy results of the overall complicance rate was 64.47%.Conclusion:Thinprep cervical cytology(TCT) in cervical cancer screening, higher accuracy, the inspection process and the satisfaction rate of cervical amear abnormal cells greatly increase the detection rate,TCT coordinates with colposcopic biopsy is the most effective mean of screening and diagnosing of cervical lesions.
