Abstract
OBJECTIVE To study the constituents of Porana sinensis Hemsl. .METHODS The compounds were extracted with 70% EtOH and isolated via silica columns chromatography repeatly.RESULTS Nine compounds were isolated from this plant. On the basis of the properties and spectral analysis, their structures were identified as scopoletin(1) ,scopolin(2) , 2,5-dimethoxybenzoquinone(3), 7-hydroxy-coumarin(4), ethyl caffeate(5), N-trans-feruloyltyramine (6), N-trans-coumaroyltyramine (7),β-sitosterin (8) and β-daucosterol (9). CONCLUSION Compound 3,4,6 and 7 are isolated from this genus for the first time.
