On Evaluation of Comprehensive Economic Strength of Major Cities in Hubei Province

Abstract
12 major cities in Hubei Province are chosen as the subjects in the research on the comprehensive economic strength.By building the comprehensive evaluation index system of city economic strength and using factor analysis and cluster analysis to process 36 economic indicators of these major cities in 2006,evaluation and classification are made as to the comprehensive economic strength of the related cities for the optimization of the economic development in the involved cities.
