Abstract
The Aeromonas hydrophila strains were isolated from the sick Paralichthys olivaceus. The typical symptom was observed through clinical diagnosis and pathological anatomy.Biochemical experimental results showed that this bacteria could be identified as Aeromonas hydrophila. This bacteria was also detected by using polymerase chain reaction based on the aer gene and the 16s rDNA sequence of Aeromonas hydrophila reported on Genbank. The result of the molecular detection was consistent with the biochemical detection.
