Abstract
Objective To explore the correlation between fatty liver and obesity, dyslipidemia, diabetes mellitus. Methods 534 cases of officials who came to take part in the healthy examination had received measurements of their level lipids, blood glucose, liver, renal function of their bloods and their heights and weights;inspection of liver and kidney by B ultrasonic;electrocardiogram(ECG),chest-X-ray.The data were recorded by computer. The populations suffered by fatty were compared with those without.Results(1)Among cases of the body mass index(BMI)≥28,the rates of which suffered by fatty liver were 65.38%,and among thoss of BMI28,the rates were 16.45%.The rates of fatty liver companied by obesity were higher than those of non-obesity(P0.01).(2) There were positive differences of their BMI,blood triglyceride(TG),high density lipoprotein-cholesterol(HDL-C),fasting blood glucose(FBG),2-hour postprandial blood glucose(PBG2h) between the fatty liver and the non-fatty liver cases(P0.01).(3)The incidences of obesity, hypertriglyceridemia, low HDL-C,diabetes mellitus(DM) in fatty liver group were significantly higher than that of non-fatty liver group(P0.01).Conclusion Obesity, hypertriglyceridemia, low HDL-C and DM were closely related with fatty liver;Losing body weight, redressing the abnormality of blood lipid and decreasing the serum glucose of the DM are the most important ways to prevent the fatty liver.
