Abstract

ObjectiveTo determine the prevalence of fatty liver in physical examination group of Beijing, and to analyze its risk factors.MethodsTotal 14 018 persons were tested the body mass index(BMI),blood pressure(BP),blood lipids(TC,TG,LDL-C and HDL-C),blood glucose(FBG) and liver function(ALT).The results of fatty liver groups were compared with those of non-fatty liver groups.ResultsThe ratio of fatty liver was 35.64%,and the prevalence of fatty liver in male was higher than that in female. The popular age is 41~60 years old in male, but it is 61~70 years old in female. It is different between the fatty liver and non-fatty liver groups in BMI,DBP,TG,LDL-C, HDL-C,FBG,Hb,GGT and ALT.The morbidity rates of obesity, lipopathy, hypertension and diabetes mellitus in the fatty liver group were significantly higher than those in non-fatty liver group(P0.05).The two groups were exposed to HBV infection in the same level.ConclusionObesity, diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia and hypertension may be independent risk factors of fatty liver. To reduce weight and maintain normal blood glucose, lipid and blood pressure are importmant ways to preventing the fatty liver.
