Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of Esomeprazo1e and Mosapride in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD).Methods Eighty patients with GERD,based on a randomized double-blind method, was divided into two groups. The treatment group of 40 patients was given Esomeprazole 40 mg/day,Mosapride 5 mg,orally taken 3 times a day.Control group of 40 patients orally took Esomeprazole 40 mg/day.Six weeks after treatment, stomach heartburn, reflux, and anti-acid,non-cardiac chest pain and other symptoms of mitigation were observed, and on the sixth week, gastroscopy and esophagitis cure rate were reviewed. Results The treatment group after 6 weeks has the recovery rate of 95%,the control group 80%.Great difference appeared between the two groups(P0.01).The treatment group after 6 weeks has the recovery rate of 70% in A,B,C,D′s levels of esophagitis and the overall rate of 90%.The difference is significant(P0.01).Conclusion Esomeprazole combined with Mosapride in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease is an effective program.
