Abstract

Self-study is based on the theory of constructivism.It is necessary and feasible to use self-study in higher vocational English teaching.Combining with teaching practice,after research of higher vocational students and on the basis of grasping the key points of self-study,the author takes the basic teaching mode of intensive reading course as an example to explore the teaching mode of higher vocational self-study.
