Abstract

The article analyzed the concepts and distinction between the static GIS and mobile GIS concepts, introduced the mobile GIS database which related to key technologies such as mobile database technology, embedded operating systems, mobile networking technology, wireless users terminal technology and so on;and finally pointed out the development trend of mobile GIS.
