Abstract

Economy and technology develop rapidly in today′s society.As a historical evidence of those changes,the city′s industrial heritage needs protection immediately.Based on analysis to space needs of the city′s creative industry development,this article finds out that the rise and development of creative industries and urban industrial heritage of the protective re-use fit well.It also discusses ways of protection and enlightenment to the cultural heritage of urban industry with the example of Guangzhou Textile Machinery being transformed into Guangzhou TIT Creative Industry Zone.
