The Inner Feelings of Erchen and its Implication to Ci in the Qing Dynasty

Some of Erchen in the Early Qing Dynasty were Ci-poets.Reading their Ci-poems,we can feel their full inner feelings.Although they were officials of the Qing Dynasty,they mourned for the Ming Dynasty.Generally,they selected image which implied mourning for the former Dynasty to express such feelings.On the other hand,they were not completely accepted in the Qing Dynasty,so they often took themselves as strangers of the life,which made them regret for their choice to serve the new dynasty.Moreover,some of them longed for being hermits by the means of appreciating Tao Yuan-ming and chrysanthemum.In a word,their mind state was colorful and delicate,which was significant to deepen the artistic conception of Ci.
