Abstract
The karst landform evolution and mineralization of accumulative bauxite in Pingguo,Guangxi was studied. The results show that the weathering degree of accumulative bauxite deposit in Pingguo Bauxite Ore corresponds to the evolution of karst landform. The landform zonation is one of karst evolution laws. With the development of karst types in geomorphic evolution process landform, zonation morphology tends to be irregular.Zonations of karst landform corresponds to different underground stream structures, and the evolution of landscape zonation reflects the development process of stream system. Therefore, evolution of underground stream system indicates the features of karst multi-cycle activities during the process of crustal uplift.Compared with the characteristics of Nadou and Taiping-Jiaomei accumulative bauxite deposits, the distribution patterns of accumulative bauxite gradually become disperse and heterogeneous with the evolution of topography. The changing trends of accumulative bauxite composition meet the basic laws of weathering process.Al2O3 content changes from up to down during the evolution of the accumulative bauxite. This is closely related to the evolution degree of underground karst.Based on the karst landform patterns, the distribution patterns of underground stream system is reconstructed in small karst watershed, the degree of development of karst stream system is the basic reason for topography differences and accumulative bauxite changes.
