Abstract
The green catalytic synthesis of ancyl hexanoate from n-peatanol and hexanoic acid using composite solid acid catalyst was investigated. The opptimum reaction conditions were: the molar ratio of n-pentunol to hexanoic acid was 1.7∶1.0, reaction time was 25 min, composite solid acid catalyst was 0.5 g. The catalyst can used repeatedly, had higher activity and no pollutiou. Under the best reaction conditions, its yield could reach to 99 %.
