Abstract
Aiming at the shortcoming of design and architecture of the traditional positioning terminal system, a design scheme of dual positioning terminal system based on SOPC was proposed, which was integrated with GSM and GPS and made use of the advantages of high integration rate and flexible configuration of Nios soft CPU core. Nios soft CPU core, memory and all kinds of interface were embedded in a high density FPGA by SOPC Builder. The scheme accomplished man-machine interactive function, control and com-munication by using single control chip, and realized high precision real-time positioning function. The experimental result indicates that the system has the characteristics of well flexibility, extensibility and generality, compact conformation and low power.
