Clinical observation of Ehuangtangshen composition on blood fat,blood rheology and UAER of patients with early diabetic nephropathy

Objective To observe the effect of Ehuangtangshen composition on blood fat,blood rheology and urinary albumen excretion rate(UAER)of patients with early diabetic nephropathy.Methods 70 patients with early diabetic nephropathy were selected,and they were randomly divided into 2 groups,the treating group and the control group.Each group has 5 cases.All the cases in the both groups received alimentary control,and their blood glucose were controlled to a satisfactory level.The cases in treatment group(n=5)were treated with Ehuangtangshen composition and the cases in control group(n=5)were treated with Lotensin.The therapeutic course was three months in both groups.Blood fat,blood rheology and UAER were observed before and after the treatment.Results The blood rheology,cholesterol(TG),triglyceride(TC)in treatment group decreased markedly after the treatment(P0.05).There was significant difference between two groups(P0.05).UAER in the two groups decreased markedly after treatment,but there was no significant difference between two groups(P0.05).Conclusion Ehuangtangshen composition can improve the blood fat,blood rheology and decrease the urinary albumen excretion rate(UAER)of patients with early diabetic nephropathy.It is an effective prescription in preventing the early diabetic nephropathy develop to the final stage.
