Abstract
Objective:To develop an HPLC method to simultaneously determine the contents of luteolin,apigenin and kaempferol in Verbena oficinalis L..Methods:The separation was carried out on a C18(250 mm×4.6 mm,5 μm)column with the mixture of acetonitrile-water containing 0.05% phosphoric acid(40∶60)as a mobile phase at the flow rate of 1.0 mL·min-1 and detection wavelength was set at 350 nm.The temperature of column was 30 ℃.Results:The linear relationship was good for luteolin,apigenin and kaempferol in the range of 1.065-21.30,1.146-22.92 and 1.645-32.91 μg·mL-1(r=0.9995-0.9999).The average recoveries(n=6)were 98.1%(RSD=1.8%),100.3%(RSD=1.5%)and 97.1%(RSD=1.7%).Conclusion:This method is rapid,accurate and repeatable and can be used to determine the contents of luteolin,apigenin and kaempferol and control quality of Verbena oficinalis L..
