The Luo Learning and Henan Ancient Academy in the Song Dynasty

Facing conflicts and collisions among theories of Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism,the Cheng Brothers,the greatmasters of theory Confucianism in Song Dynasty,drew virtues from Confucianism and Taoism and then initiated a new theory named the Luo Learning.Especially with help of academic front,the Cheng Brothers not only made the Luo Learningvery famous and widely spread at late stage of Song Dynasty but also urged Henan Ancient Academy to make a rapid progress.The connection between science and academy made a great influence on development of Ancient Academy and science in following centuries.
