Abstract

OBJECTIVE Amplified fragment length polymorphism(AFLP) is a new molecular marker technique invented in the foundation of PCR technique and RFLP marker technique.The paper introduced the principle and characteristics of AFLP marker,presented its application in the study of plant genetic linkage map,genetic diversity,germplasm recources identification and forecasts its development outlook.
