Abstract
AFLP(Amplified fragment length polymorphism) is a newly developed technique for DNA fingerprinting.The principle,method and characteristics of AFLP marker were briefly described.Its application in genetic polymorphism analysis,systemic development research,gene localization and molecular marker manipulation were also reviewed.
