Abstract

One Newcastle disease virus (NDV)isolated from pigeon of Shandong was proved virulent, because of ELD50 of 107.85,MDT of 52.5h,1.8 of ICPI,2.2 of IVPI.The cleavage site of the virus F protein was 112 RRQKRF 117,and accorded with highly pathogenic strain character.By analyzing genotype and homology of SDZ08 and other NDV strains,it showed that SDZ08 belonged to genotype Ⅵ,and had lower homology compared with traditional strains La Sota、F48E9、B1 and V4.
