Abstract

Objective:A method for determination of sorbic acid and benzoic in soya sauce by wide-bore capillary gas chromatographic column has been developed. Methods:Samples were extracted with ether after acidfication and chromatographic analysis was performed on DEGS(20 m×0.53 μm×1.0 μm) wide-bore capillary column after purification and concentration. Results:The recoveries of this method were 90.0%~96.3% and the relative standard deviations were lower than 5%.The series-concentration of criteria was linear from 0.05 mg/ml to 0.25 mg/ml(r=0.9996) and the detection limits of the sorbic acid and benzoic were 3.5 μg/ml and 3.5 μg/ml,respectively.Conclusion:The method has a good separation with simple operation.Sensitivity and accuracy all reach the required standard.
