The clinical effect of hernia ring filling tension free hernia repair of inguinal hernia in elderly patients

Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of hernia ring filling tension free hernia repair of inguinal hernia treatment of elderly patients.Methods The treatment of tension free repair of 68 cases over the age of 60 hernia patients were retrospectively analyzed.Results 68 patients were cured.Operation time 30~50 min,an average of 42min.The patient's leaved hospital in 37 days after operation.No case of postoperative complications.45 patients were followed up.The follow-up period was 0.5 to 5 years.No case of recurrence.Conclusion Filling tension free hernia repair is worth promoting in the primary hospital,especially for elderly patients.
