Total knee replacement for osteoarthritis of knee(Report of 13 cases)

Abstract

Objective To study the clinical effect of total knee arthroplasty for osteoarthritis of the knee. Methods 13 cases of total knee arthroplasty for osteoarthritis were reviewed using the HSS score system. Results The results showed that the improvement in joint function was execellent in 92.3% cases, especially in pain relief. Conclusion Total knee arthroplasty is an effective method for treating severe osteoarthritis.
