Abstract
Objective To observe clinical effects of therapy of supplementing qi,nourishing yin, removing phlegm and activating blood circulation(SNRA) in the treatment of early diabetic nephropathy(DN).Methods Forty patients with early DN were averagely randomized into treatment group and control group.Patients in both groups received basic treatments including controlling diet, lowing blood glucose and orally taking fosinopril,10 mg daily during eight weeks.Additionally, patients in the treatment group orally took SNRA Decoction, twice daily during eight weeks. Results After treatment, the therapeutic effect in the treatment group was completely remissive in 2 cases, markedly effective in 10,effective in 6,invalid in 2,with total response rate being 90.0%;while in the control group, completely remissive in 0 case, markedly effective in 5,effective in 6,invalid in 9,with total response rate being 55.0%.There was significant difference in total response rate and total clinical efficacy between the two groups.Therapies of the treatment group were superior to those of the control group in decreasing urinary albumin excretion rate(UAER) during 24 hours and high sensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP).Conclusion Therapy of SNRA can alleviate clinical symptoms in DN patients, reduce UAER,and inhibit chronic inflammation by reducing hs-CRP.
