Abstract

Objective:To establish a method of enantiomeric chiral separation by capillary electrochromatography(CEC) using carboxyosuccinyl β-cyclodextrin microspheres as the stationary phase. Methods:A novel CEC packed column was prepared using carboxyosuccinyl β-cyclodextrin microspheres as the chiral stationary phase. In capillary electrochromatographic mode, the prepared packed column was evaluated by separating racemic mixtures of two types of amino acids and two types of chiral drugs. Results:In the optimal CEC conditions, four enantiomers were baseline separated. Conclusion:It proved that the prepared chiral packed column has strong chiral separation ability, good reproducibility and is easy to operate. The results reveal that carboxyosuccinyl β-cyclodextrin microspheres can be applied as a CEC stationary phase for chiral electrochromatography.
