Abstract

This paper studied several factors influencing graft copolymerization of ethyl acrylate onto potato starch, with sodium persulfate as initiator. The results show that the optimal concentration of ethyl acrylate and that of the initiator are 0.56mol/L and 5.83mmol/L respectively, the best temperature for reaction is 48℃,and the time of reaction is 120min.
