Statistical analysis of citations of Journal of Environment Entomology in 2001-2010

Abstract
Based on the citation database of CNKI(China National Knowledge Internet),the cited papers published in Journal of Environment Entomology were studied by means of citation analysis from 2001 to 2010.The results showed that there were 343 cited papers in the total of 504 papers published,a ratio of the former to the latter is 68.06%.And the total citation frequencies are 1904,in which the highest citation frquency is 40 and each paper was cited 5.55 times.The papers cited below 5 times accounted for 63.57%.The cited periodicals were 262,in which cited below 3 times accounted for 74.81%.Then the authors distributions of cited papers are analyzed,especialy detailed information was given for the highly cited papers.From the statistics of presented high cited papers and research focus,it was put forword to strengthen contributions,prominent characteristic column,and improve the publication of high quality paper.
