Abstract
Objective To evaluate the academic level and the quality of Laboratory Medicine by analyzing the cited papers from 2004 to 2007.Methods According to the information of China National Knowledge Internet(CNKI),the papers published in Laboratory Medicine from 2004 to 2007 were surveyed.The number of papers,the cited frequency,the distributions of the authors and the associated journals were analyzed by bibliometrics and citation analysis.Results Of the total 1 062 papers,the cited frequency of 487 papers was 1 292,the average cited frequency was 2.7,the top was 32.76 papers were cited more than 5 times.33 papers written by 21 authers whose papers cited 10 times or more were totally cited 301 times.The papers published in Laboratory Medicine were cited by 352 kinds of journals and the average citation frequency of every journal was 3.2.Conclusions Laboratory Medicine is a journal with quite high academic quality in the field of clinical laboratory in China.
