Abstract
The calculation model of the A reservoir dam break flood has been established.In this model,Preissmann implicit difference scheme was adopted to build the discrete equations of the 1D open channel non-permanent flow.Through the dam break analysis and calculation of the A reservoir,the dam-break outflow hydrograph was used as the inflow hydrograph of the downstream B reservoir.And the flood regulation computation has been carried.The result has shown that the downstream B reservoir dam break wouldn't occur if A reservoir dam break occurred.
