Preliminary report on the comparison of Pleurotus ostreatus new strains

Nine moderate-temperate and high-temperate strains of Pleurotus ostreatus introduced were compared.The growth of mycelia,water resistance and microbial contamination were compared.The biological characters of fruit body were also tested.The results showed that the general characters Heifeng204,Guangwen7 and chuqiu1 were excellent and adapted Hainan's climate.The three strains had high-speed growth of mycelia,thickset mycelia,high yield and the period of fruit body growth was even.
