Abstract

The genetic diversity of 10 widely-used-on-market cultivars in Lilium investigate using random amplified polymorphic DNA(RAPD).Among 125 10 bp random primers, thirty primers generating polymorphic fragments were chosen to amplify polymorphic bands of all of cultivars. Each primer could produce 3 to 13 polymorphic bands.Ten cultivars could be distinguished by primer S233,which revealed that this primer could probably used in classification of other cultivars.Cluster analysis indicated that the genetic distance of 10 cultivars was 0.0930~0.5349,and that all the cultivars could be divided into three groups with the similarity coefficient at 0.57.The genetic distance between Bernini and Tiber was 0.0930,indicating that genotypes of their parents were highly similar.Aktiva was the highly different from the other caltivars.
