Abstract
The development of cyber-technology has given birth to a new online college English teaching model.This paper elaborates the present situation and the theoretical base of cyber college English teaching.And it demonstrates some characteristics or advantages owned by college English teaching in the presence of network.Despite these typical advantages,there exist many problems in actual teaching practice.This paper then holds that we should intensify the study of cyber teaching,and of online software programming with regard to college English teaching guided by Constructivism theory in order to give full play to online teaching model and to promote college English teaching and reform.
