Expression of Nerve Growth Factor in Ovary,Oviduct and Uterus in Cattle

Abstract

The expression of nerve growth factor(NGF) mRNA and NGF protein in ovary,oviduct and uterus from luteal phase and follicular phase ovary of cattle were studied by FQ-PCR technique and Western blotting.The results showed that the mRNA and protein of NGF was present in ovary,oviduct and uterus both from luteal phase and follicular phase ovary.The amount of NGF mRNA in uterus from follicular phase ovary was significantly higher than ovary from follicular phase ovary and oviduct from luteal phase ovary(P0.05),the expression level of NGF mRNA in other tissues was no significantly difference.
