Experimental Study on Antioxidation Ability and Anti-Free Radical Effect of Zhiwei Fangbian Capsule

Objective To investigate the expression of NO,NOS,SOD and MDA,and the effect of Zhiwei Fangbian Capsule on them in chronic atrophic gastritis rats with qi-deficiency and blood-statsis.Methods Ninty rats were divided into 6 groups randomly:normal group,model group,Weimeisu group and Zhiwei Fangbian high,middle,low dose group.Model of chronic atrophic gastritis was induced by MNNG and ranitidine hydrochloride,combined with irregular diet.The effects of Zhiwei Fangbian Capsule on the levels of NO,NOS,SOD and MDA in gastric tissues were detected.Results In model group,levels of NO and NOS in gastric tissues were much higher than those of normal group(P0.01,P0.05),level of SOD was much lower than that of normal group(P0.01),and level of MDA was much higher than that of normal group(P0.01).Compared with model group,Zhiwei Fangbian Capsule could decrease the content of NO,NOS and MDA in gastric tissues(P0.05),and increase the level of SOD(P0.05).Conclusion Zhiwei Fangbian Capsule has functions of ameliorating gastric mucosal blood flow and microcirculation,elevating antioxidation enzyme activity and lessening free radical impairment.
