Abstract
The ethyl acetate extract of Cortex Mori was studied with the silica gel column chromatography,TLC,Sephadex LH- 20 column chromatography, recrystallization, etc, and the chemical constituents were elucidated by their physicochemical properties and spectral datas. There were eight compounds were isolated from the ethyl acetate extract of Cortex Mori. The chemical structures of them were elucidated as: tritriacontane, hexadecanoic acid,β- sitosterol, oleanolic acid, scopoletin, kuwanon S,hentriacontane,2'- Hydroxy- 4',6 '- dimethoxy- acetophenone. Hexadecanoic acid was obtained from this plant for the first time.
