Abstract
[Objective]To identify the background value of fluoride content in the drinking water of Cangzhou City, and provide basic data for detecting the adulteration in milk with fluoride selective electrode method. [Methods]Different types of drinking water were randomly sampled within Cangzhou City. Then the fluoride content in the drinking water was detected with fluoride selective electrode. [Results]There were significant differences in fluoride content of drinking water from different sources. The fluoride content in water from self-supply wells and taps in a county was 1.434 9~6.007 9 mg/L,which was higher than the national standard of drinking water. The fluoride content in the tap water of the urban area was 0.589 2 mg/L,which complied with the national standard of drinking water. The fluoride content in water from household faucet filter was 0.484 7mg/L,barreled water for sale 0.023 00~0.040 40 mg/L and mineral water 0.148 2 mg/L. [Conclusion]The fluoride content is different in drinking water from different sources of Cangzhou City, and that in water from self-supply wells and taps in a county exceeds the standards.Further effort should be made to promote the monitoring of the water quality. And measures should be taken to reduce the level of fluoride in water from self-supply wells and taps.Meanwhile, the appropriate level of fluoride should be marked on its labeling.
