Abstract
The training of innovative talents is an important mission of higher education.The innovative talents can be classified into the applied innovative talents and theoretical innovative talents.The training of large number of applied innovative talents is the intrinsic requirements to improve the quality of higher education.The training of the applied innovative talents requires holding the philosophy of academic freedom,adhering to the principles of the compatibleness of theoretical knowledge and applied knowledge and the sharing of knowledge width and depth,and effectively carrying out the reform of personnel training mechanism of mentoring system,credit system,examination system and semester system.
