Clinical observation on 60 cases of diabetic gastroparesis treated by combined treatment of traditional Chinese and western medicine

Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of combined treatment of traditional Chinese and western medicine on diabetic gastroparesis. Methods 100 patients with diabetic gastroparesis were randomly divided into two groups. 60 patients in treatment group were treated by combined treatment of traditional Chinese and western medicine;40 patients in control group were treated by single western medicine,with a treatment course of seven days for both groups. The therapeutic effects were evaluated after 1 treatment course. Results The total effective rate was 96.66% in treatment group and 80.00% in control group. There was a significant difference between two groups (P0.05).Conclusion The combined treatment of traditional Chinese and western medicine is effective in treating diabetic gastroparesis, with a fast effect and shorter treatment course.
