Discussion on Mining Method and Filling Technology of Lilou Iron Mine

Back-filling Method is one primary method of no-wastes or lesser-wastes mining,which has many advantages,such as high recovery ratio of resource,destroying slightly to the environment,high safety level of operation.According to the technical conditions of mining and the production capacity in Lilou iron mine,combining with actual production,a mining method of 25 m sublevel open stoping and subsequent filling with upward fan-pattern holes was initially selected for the new 500 million t/a production system in Lilou iron mine.The mining method and filling technology were discussed,some problems were pointed out,and some countermeasures to solve these problems and some suggestions for future work were put forward also.
