Abstract
The allelopathic effect of the extracts with different solvents from Solidago canadensis on the seed germination and early seedling growth of wheat and radish were studied.The main results were as follows:①the aquatic extract from Solidago canadensis inhibited seed germination and early seedling growth of wheat and radish more strongly than organic extracts;②while the extracts with the same solvent,the extract from the organs above ground inhibited seed germination and early seedling growth of wheat and radish more strongly than those from the underground and ③the extracts with different solvents deformed the early seedling to some extent.
