Re-understanding of the Historical Status of the Military Movements of the Chinese Communist Party during the Great Revolution

The Chinese Communist Party explored a series of important military theoretical problems such as the armed struggle and the function of the revolutionary army in Chinese revolution and so on during the course of military movement in the period of the Great Revolution. It trained and laid up large numbers of military and political talents through many kinds of ways, such as Huangpu Military Academy, National Revolutionary Army, National Army, the Soviet Union and the movements of workers and peasants. It had accumulated a wealth of experience of military management and direction by a series of military movements such as East and North Expeditions and so on. It laid a foundation for the CCP to establish the people’s army and carry out the revolutionary war independently after the defeat of the Great Revolution. Therefore, the period of the Great Revolution was the important preparatory period, which exerted a great influence on the founding of the people’s army, the Agrarian Revolutionary War, the War of Resistance Against Japan and the War of Liberation.
