On the Contributions Made by the Central Plains'Philosophers,Feng Youlan,Ji Wenfu,and Zhao Jibin to Modern Chinese Philosophy

From 1920s to 1940s,the three philosophers and philosophical historians,Feng Youlan,Ji Wenfu,and Zhao jibin,who came out from the Central Plains,sought ways unremittingly in Chinese nation's difficult journey to revival,and made their own contributions to the development of modern Chinese philosophy and history of philosophy.Feng Youlan's The History of Chinese Philosophy(two-volumes) and Six works of Zhen Yuan,marked his outstanding contributions to the establishment of the history of modern Chinese philosophy subject and the innovation of Chinese philosophy from 1930s to 1940s,and just because of this he became a famous philosopher and philosophical historian in the 20th century.Ji Wenfu,who had got higher attainments on the research of the philosophy of the Former Qin philosophers,Neo-confucianism of the Song and Ming Dynasties,and especially the Left wing Wang School,was one of the well-known scholars who earliest was the first to use Marxist historical materialism to study the history of Chinese philosophy.Zhao Jibin's works on the history of Chinese philosophy established the exemplification to use Marxist historical materialism to research and write the history of Chinese philosophy.
