On the Characteristics of Vocational Education

Abstract

Vocational education is an educational form catering to technical personnel.This paper divides educational system into vocational education and liberal education.It discusses the characteristics of vocational education contrasted with liberal education from such four aspects as the intensions,the occupational traits,the goals,the people-orientated quality,and the teaching points of vocational education.
