On Harmonious Development of Ethnic Areas——Taking Laifeng County in Hubei and Longshan County in Hunan as the Example

Taking Laifeng County in Hubei and Longshan County in Hunan as the example,this paper makes a study of harmonious development of ethnic areas and puts forward the following countermeasures.First,speeding up the economic development in ethnic areas is the basis.Second,national unity and harmonious relationship among nationalities is the presupposition of harmonious development.Third,putting scientific viewpoint of development into effect is the fundamental guarantee.Fourth,properly handling the relationship among competition and cooperation,as well as competition and aid is the key.Fifth,properly handling the relationship among ethnic areas is the emphasis and difficult point.Sixth,arousing the enthusiasm of the masses and stimulating their creativity are the motive force.
